Partners In Development (PID) has been serving the poorest of the poor in the developing world since 1990. Through child sponsorships, small business loans, housing opportunities and medical care we aim to transform communities so they can be self-sufficient. We serve over 4,000 people each year in Haiti and Guatemala who are determined to break the cycle of poverty for their families.

Description of Services:
PID strives for community transformation in the areas in which we work. We do not just feed a child or build a house, but we look at each family and work with them to achieve whole life improvement so they can become independent and break the cycle of poverty. Our program includes child sponsorships, small business loans, housing opportunities and medical care.

Additional Background Information:
We also host approximately 12 mission trips to Guatemala and Haiti each year and bring over 120 people with us from the United States. The trip attendees work in our programs, meet the people they are helping and learn more about life in developing countries.
